real problems to improve people's lives.
CEO & Co-founder
Flo started Poparide in 2010 as HitchWhistler to fuel his passions for travel and technology, and to meet new people and save money when going skiing in Whistler. His skills in design and web programming make up for Poparide's ease of use. He looks after business, marketing, and growth to make his vision come to life: become the best intercity transport system in North America.
Outside Poparide, you may find Flo skiing down a mountain, riding a motorbike on windy roads or snapping photos of British Columbia's beautiful landscapes.

CTO & Co-founder
Luke went all in with Flo on the launch of Poparide in 2014, both architecting and implementing the software that powers the service. He cut his teeth in the world of online services working on credit card transaction systems before moving into the computer games industry, where he worked on and managed the development of massively scalable APIs. He's thrilled to now be putting his experience and passion to use in creating a service that, not only helps to get people around, but also provides true social and environmental benefits to the communities that it serves.
Always an avid traveller, Luke moved to Canada in search of mountains and adventure in 2008 where it quickly became home. When he's not hammering away at that keyboard, he's probably outside somewhere running, climbing or just soaking up the nature.
