Reliable passengers

Passengers pay for their seats in advance through Poparide’s secure booking system, to ensure they are committed to showing up.
If a passenger cancels within 24 hours of departure, you get 50% of the payment
If a passenger doesn’t show up, you get 100% of the payment

After a trip is completed, you will receive an automatic payout, free of charge. That's right, there are no fees for receiving money on Poparide.

Yep, it's legal

Poparide operates under provincial carpooling regulations in Canada, which allow drivers to offset the costs of running their vehicle.
Collect money to cover your gas, insurance and maintenance costs
You are generally covered by your regular insurance but we recommend a minimum $2 million third-party liability
