"Loucas decided to pickup an additional unauthorized 4th passenger on my trip, thus putting me the third row in his trunk, where I had to keep my head turned at a 45 degree angle sideways the whole 1.5 hour trip due to the low ceiling in the trunk. I am a tall individual at 6’2, and my knees were smushed up against the second row seats the entire time. Completely unacceptable. Furthermore, the seatbelt was inaccessible due to the other passengers suitcase luggage being crammed in beside me in the trunk. The app limits the number of passengers for safety reasons, and Loucas circumvented these restrictions for his own personal gain. I was not informed beforehand of this travel situation, otherwise I would’ve found another driver. Overall highly unprofessional and unsafe. [Poparide's staff] Driver's reply: I am sorry to hear that your carpool experience was an unpleasant one due to tight seating. I want to clarify couple facts about what you wrote though. There was no unauthorized pickup of a carpoolers nor did I compromise the safety for personal gains. These are serious allegations, and they are completely wrong. The vehicles is rated for seven seats, and there was four passengers onboard as you saw. All four passengers are booked for the trip. It just happened that you came the last, past the departure date and didn’t have chance to say hi to anyone or to discuss seating options for your body size. Everyone showed a couple minutes prior to the scheduled departure, and were able to find comfort inside the vehicle. The last seat was the only option available for you. Further, I want to point out that the seating capacity of any vehicle is basically determined by the number of seatbelts, which I checked in-person is clearly accessible from your right side shoulder to the hip, in my vehicle. Nothing should have stopped you from wearing it securely. I don’t think you needed a safety video or an attendant to remind you of how to use it. We all arrived in to the drop off location safely on time. Please consider relying on other options available for you next time you’re experiencing an issue with carpooling or any ride sharing service. For example, speaking to the people who you meet in person on site might actually be able to offer you some other practical solutions. Leaving a review comment, or having them rated badly after you already had had to suffer through problems is an option for you, but I cannot imagine how doing so would help anyone. Better luck next time"
