"Terrible experience. My friend and I booked this rideshare as we were scheduled to leave at 11:30am from Ottawa. He soon after let me know that we would be leaving at 12pm from a different pick up location than what was listed upon booking. When confirming the pick up time and location on the morning of, he let me know that he would actually be picking us up for 12:30pm. I shared my confusion with him as again we had booked his rideshare as it was advertised we would be leaving at 11:30am, he said there was delays on the 401 and so I tried my best to be understanding of this. As I drove on my way to the pick up location, he called and texted several times letting me Know that he would not be there for 12:30pm but for 12:40pm. At this point there was nothing I could do as this was our only form of transportation to Toronto, so we had no choice but to be in agreement with this new time. I would like to note that through all of these changes of pick up times and locations, not once was my friend reached out to to have this communicated to her. I had to be the one to go between her and Anton to make sure that she was up-to-date on what was happening. I was set to arrive at our pick up location for 12:27pm, when Anton called me and texted me multiple times again asking me where I was as he had arrived at the pick up location. I explained that he had told me that he would be there for 12:40pm yet he seemed irritated I was not there then. We finally met, got in the car and headed to Toronto. For the entirety of the commute he was speeding at 140km+/hour tailing cars and swerving in and out traffic. He was ON HIS PHONE as he was driving, messaging other potential riders, and when he wasn’t messaging them himself he was asking my friend who sat in the front to message them for him off his phone. In bumper-to-bumper traffic, he would accelerate despite having nowhere to go and slam on the brakes, which caused the car to continuously jolt forward. We were honked at continuously throughout our drive and at one point he ran an 18 wheeler off the road, to which I looked out the window and seen this 18 wheeler off-roading and honking at us. He had also driven completely off the road at one of the off-ramp to skip all the traffic. I have never experienced feeling so unsafe and such motion sickness in my life (I am not prone to motion sickness at all, and have almost never experienced this while driving). I’m not too sure if he was driving like this to make up for the fact that we left over an hour after what people had booked for, but irrespective of being late it was totally unacceptable and he drove with such disregard to everybody’s safety. Such a horrible unpleasant experience. I was sick to my stomach by the end of the ride. Never would I book with him ever again."
