"Up to this day, this has been the best Poparide service I’ve ever taken. The driver messaged me when he arrived, was perfectly on time, and explained clearly that we would wait a few minutes for everyone to show up. He was kind from the very beginning, even lending a charger to both me and my friend. During the trip, he only made one stop, which was great since it felt almost like a direct ride. He also gave us a short break, which I used to grab some food and use the washroom, and then we continued smoothly. He drives very well. I noticed he handled a situation with another passenger, and as a Poparide driver myself, I can say he was absolutely right in the way he managed it. Since I don’t know Toronto very well, I asked if he could drop me off near my destination. To my surprise, he didn’t just leave me close—he actually went out of his way to drop me exactly at my destination, even though it was a slight detour for him. This made the trip even better. 👉 Just to clarify: the fact that he dropped me off directly at my destination doesn’t mean he has to do this for everyone. This happened because we were the last passengers and my stop was close to his route. I only expected to be dropped off somewhere nearby, but this extra gesture made the trip warmer and even more special. I know Poparide isn’t Uber, but that gesture really stood out and showed how amazing he is as both a driver and a person. I’m extremely grateful. I recommend him without hesitation, and whenever I travel again, it will definitely be with him."
