"Worst communication experience in 6 years using Poparide. I texted the driver the night before to confirm the pickup time—no response. Texted again in the morning—still no response. I finally called and was told he would be late. That’s fine, but he didn’t say how long. My pickup spot is 30 minutes from Yorkdale, so I asked if he could call me when he left Yorkdale. He agreed. Instead, he called to say he’d be there in 10 minutes. I left immediately but was going to be under 5 minutes late. He SHOUTED at me on the phone, saying I should have been waiting for him—even though he was the one who was late. No respect at all. I’ve been both a driver and a passenger on this app for 6 years, and this is the first bad review I’ve ever written."
