"I'm driving across the country for uni at the end of August, and I'll have an extra seat or two, depending on the vehicle I take.  I'd like to get across as fast as possible, so if you're available to drive and have a license that'd be great.

I'm taking a road bike and some tools, so there might not be a ton of extra room for luggage, but I'll try my best to make it work. 

I'm tentatively planning on mostly driving through the northern states to save on some gas, but this can change too depending on your destination."
