"I'm new to this amazing community and just had my first ride as a passenger and have been inspired to share rides with those travelling. I was raised on the Island and been in Metro Vancouver for some time and have always made trips 4 - 6 times/year back to the Valley,  So I'm  familiar with not only with the Old Island Highway but also the "not so new" New Island Highway. We will be at the Departure Bay terminal, hang out for any riders that are going up Island and can make drop-offs along the way to Comox. Also could do an earlier or later pick up depending on peoples' preferences. This particular trip is important to me as we are planning to attend the Comox Airshow on May 18th to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). Preference for Nanaimo to Comox trips but willing to do what works for the two that will join my daughter and me. Ask any questions you wish and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!"
