"I ask you pay your share of  the car cost and your own fare for the ferry.  The date and time leaving or returning can be altered by a bit.  I travel with a small dog and don't mind if you need to bring your own pet.  I'm pretty laid back and don't mind coffee/pee breaks or a short walk.  Turn the radio on quietly to a talk show or music (no head banger rock or rap) or sleep.
If you have a valid driver's licence the sharing of driving might be appreciated.
If it gets too tiring, I usually car camp at a provincial campsite but that is based on a mutual agreement.   Actually, it's always been fun.    Oh, I've had both shots and you should have had as well.  Please have your card handy.   With thanks."
