"Unfortunately, my experience with this driver was extremely poor, and I have serious concerns about the safety of his driving. I was travelling from Sudbury to Toronto on Highway 69. During the trip, the driver was eating while driving, had music playing at a very high volume, and was driving at approximately 120 km/h. He was also having difficulty maintaining his lane and was making harsh and abrupt steering corrections. The most serious incident occurred while approaching the merge onto Highway 400. The vehicle was positioned in the wrong lane while the road was merging, and the car subsequently skidded into the mud. The vehicle ended up in the middle of the roadway while other vehicles were approaching. Anyone could have hit us, and this could easily have resulted in a serious collision. What concerned me even more was that after this incident, the driver was using his mobile phone while driving. After what had just happened, I found this extremely irresponsible and unsafe. The driver’s dashcam should have recordings of the trip and the incident, so I strongly recommend that Poparide review the footage. This was not simply an uncomfortable ride. I genuinely felt that my safety was at risk. I am reporting this because I believe Poparide should investigate the driver’s conduct and determine whether he is meeting the platform’s safety expectations. I would strongly advise passengers to take these safety concerns seriously before booking a ride with this driver."
