"I was about 3 minutes late, but I had already communicated with the driver by phone and let him know I was there. He responded “okay no problem,” so I understood that he was aware of the situation. However, he drove away without waiting and then didn’t answer any of the 5 calls I made immediately afterward. I completely understand that drivers have schedules and that passengers should be punctual. However, given that I was only a few minutes late and was actively communicating, I would have appreciated being clearly told that he was leaving rather than being left behind without any response. I have been using poparide long enough and have seen drivers waiting at least 10 mins to even saw some waiting 15 mins. It was my first time being late and I faced this unnecessarily harsh. I was literally calling him right on the street of Saint Catherine where he was supposed to be but he just texted me that he’s leaving? Unfortunately, this was not a good experience for me."
