"I had a very bad experience with this driver because of his dishonesty and lies.👎 To briefly explain, I contacted him by message before booking the trip. However, when I made the payment, I was charged $59.71 instead of the original price of $48.14. When I brought this to his attention, he denied any responsibility and told me that Poparide had probably changed the price or charged me extra by mistake. He insisted that his price had not changed and that I could check it myself. Since I had booked the trip around 11 p.m. for a 7 a.m. departure the following morning, I wasn't sure what to do or whether I should cancel. I eventually decided to travel with him, while contacting Poparide's customer service to request a refund of the difference. After investigating the situation, Poparide confirmed that the driver had personally increased the price at the time of payment and then changed it back to the original amount after I had paid. When I confronted him with this information, he finally admitted that he had done it. He even told me that I could complain wherever I wanted. His attitude was extremely unpleasant. I find this behaviour dishonest and completely unacceptable. I will never travel with this driver again. However, I would like to highlight the professionalism of Poparide's customer service team. They took the time to investigate the situation and clearly explain what had happened. I was actually close to accusing the platform of fraud because of this driver's actions. They also informed me that I would have received a full refund if I had cancelled the trip, since the situation was not my fault."
