"The ride itself felt safe, and we arrived without any issues. However, the overall experience was only average for me due to limited communication and a delayed departure. The pickup was scheduled at Berri-UQAM, but there was no direct confirmation or update from Émile outside of the Poparide app. I texted him to let him know I was nearby and arrived about 10 minutes early during a torrential downpour. Several confirmed passengers were waiting outside in the rain, but we were not permitted to enter the vehicle because there were already people inside. We ultimately left more than 30 minutes later than expected, with very little communication about the reason for the delay, who we were waiting for, or when we would be departing. One passenger also left to use the washroom, but there were still no updates provided to the rest of us. During the ride, Émile was not very communicative, even though I spoke French. His profile mentioned a preference for silence, so the passengers in the back spoke quietly, but loud music was played for most of the drive. While I had no concerns regarding his driving or safety, clearer communication, better coordination at pickup, and more consideration for passengers waiting in severe weather would have made the experience much better. Overall, the ride was fine and appreciated."
