"Very disappointing and uncomfortable experience. I was told by the driver before the trip that I would be sitting in the “middle seat.” I reasonably understood this to mean a regular middle passenger seat. When I arrived, I discovered that the “middle seat” was actually a very low, narrow seat that appears to have been added between the vehicle’s original second-row seats. It was significantly different from the normal passenger seats and extremely uncomfortable for a long-distance trip from Ottawa to Toronto. I raised the issue with the driver during our stop and asked whether he understood that this was not what most people would reasonably consider a normal middle seat. His response was essentially that I should have told him I didn’t want to sit there and that he would have refunded me. I found this response particularly frustrating because the issue was not that I changed my mind about the trip; it was that I was not clearly informed beforehand about the type of seating I was actually being provided. Zero apologies from him and no regard for customer’s satisfaction. Unfortunately, I’m unable to include photos here so future passengers can see exactly what is being described as a “middle seat.” It’s completely ridiculous. I would strongly recommend that Poparide review whether this additional seating configuration meets the platform’s safety requirements and applicable vehicle safety standards because my experience today was absolute disaster."
