"Amazing trip with George. Very professional and kind."

"​I recently travelled with George from Montreal to Toronto. While we made it to our destination, there were several issues with the trip that I think other riders should be aware of before booking. ​First, there was an incredibly intense and overpowering smell of garlic that filled the whole car. I was sitting in the front seat, and it made the ride quite uncomfortable. ​Second, George seems to view the app's official departure times as optional. When I was on my way to meet him for our 9:30 PM departure, he was quite pushy about exactly how many minutes away I was. This became a much bigger problem during a pickup in Kingston. He arrived way earlier than the scheduled time and got into a loud phone argument with the passenger waiting there. The whole car had to listen to him tell the person to "shut up and listen," insisting they needed to follow his personal text updates instead of the schedule listed on the app. It was really awkward and unprofessional. ​Third, for most of the trip, he was blasting TikTok videos (political commentary and music) on his phone at an extremely high volume. I was wearing earplugs and it was still incredibly loud. I eventually asked him to turn the volume down, and to his credit, he turned his phone off so we could finally get some peace and quiet. ​Lastly, his driving was quite stressful, especially from the front passenger seat. Zig-zagging is really the right way to describe it. He couldn't seem to keep the car centred, constantly drifting back and forth between the solid white line on the edge of the road and the dotted markers. On top of that, he was moving from lane to lane without ever using his turn signals. ​If you're highly laid back and don't mind these kinds of situations, you might be fine taking a trip with him. But if you're looking for a comfortable, safe-feeling, and respectful ride, I'd strongly suggest booking with another driver on the app."
