"The drive itself was fine, but the pre-pickup communication and location handling were frustrating. The trip description listed multiple pick-up spots, including Burger King at Métro Namur and Berri-UQAM. However, when I messaged that I was heading to Namur, the driver abruptly refused to pick me up there, stating that he was only going to Berri-UQAM due to traffic concerns from a previous day. This forced me to quickly redirect my plans and pay for an extra Uber to reach Berri-UQAM on short notice, despite having planned around the pickup location provided in the trip description. I made the effort to get there exactly on time, only to end up waiting for other passengers. We ultimately departed Berri-UQAM 13 minutes late. So, after scrambling to change my plans, paying extra for an Uber, and making sure I arrived exactly on time to avoid holding anyone up, it was rather ironic to then sit and wait for others before actually departing. While the actual drive was smooth once we finally got on the road, the confusion over the posted pickup locations, the lack of flexibility, and the delayed departure created unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and unexpected costs before the trip even started. Hopefully, in the future, the pickup locations listed in the trip description will match the locations the driver actually intends to use. It would make the experience considerably less complicated for everyone."
