I'm travelling the Trans Canada at the end of October. My leave date has some flexibility and this trip isn't following a set schedule. I travel at a relaxed but consistent pace, doing two 4 hour chunks with a nice break in between.
I did make time for some scenic stops (not really into tourist traps) and I didn't regret that at all!

I drove out east from Vancouver Island by myself in August. I didn't post that ride because I wanted to see how things went logistically and realistically. I've been driving for about 25 years without incident and part of my previous employment involved me driving with children. I was also my grandmother's chauffeur for decades.

I'm laid back and listen to a lot of different types of music. I mostly camped (in provincial rec sites and free spots) along the way, but I do have friends in Saskatchewan that I stay with when I stop in to visit.
