Felie was 20 mins late, changed the pickup location last minute, was addicted to her phone the entire time while driving which caused her to swerve many times and I did not feel safe. We almost swerved into a semi truck once and almost into a ditch multiple times. She speeds up to ride other cars and then slams on breaks, we were getting motion sickness. She didn’t use on routes but instead drove around aimlessly trying to find somewhere to eat / bathroom and then we had to stop again to fuel when she could’ve got gas the first time. Our trip took hours longer than it was supposed to. Awful especially due to the unsafe driving. Response from the driver: This passenger behaved as if she were intoxicated; she was very loud and spoke inappropriately throughout the ride with her friends. There was an unpleasant smell in the car, which forced me and the front seat passenger to keep our windows down. She purchased McDonald’s when we stopped at the nearest washroom because two passengers needed it, and it was the closest option. She left a mess in the car. Please note that I use my phone hands‑free at all times during trips for GPS purposes, as I need a map since I’m not from Toronto. Heavy traffic at rush hour extended the route, which is why a tank refill was necessary even when starting the trip with a full one. To ensure the comfort of all passengers, a stop every two hours is reasonable. At no point during the trip did the passenger voice any concerns; I keep a 4‑channel dash cam in my car in case of any incidents; there’s no footage showing any unsafe driving. I encourage her to feel comfortable communicating any issues in person rather than online, a day later.
