The Omicron wave, rising inflation and now the war in Ukraine are affecting everyone, and we hope that you, your family and friends are managing well and supporting each other during these times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you know, the war in Ukraine has deeply impacted gas prices over the last couple of weeks. In Canada, gas prices have increased 10% from a national average of $1.60\/L to $1.75\/L. In some municipalities, prices have even surpassed the $2\/L mark \u2013 a number never seen before at the pump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We want to help support drivers through these unprecedented times and ensure they are able to cover their additional gas costs. We\u2019ve decided to <strong>increase our platform-wide maximum price from 15c\/km to 17c\/km<\/strong>. This bump reflects the general trend of rising gas prices in Canada while still allowing us to keep travel affordable for everyone on Poparide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019d like to thank those of you who have reached out about this.
