We\u2019ve built a <strong>city-to-city carpooling platform<\/strong> that helps fill empty seats in cars and makes travel more social, affordable and sustainable for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re looking for a <strong>Product Marketing Lead<\/strong> who deeply understands product-led growth and the user lifecycle in a B2C mobile app environment. You will leverage our trusted brand to deeply understand our members, uncovering the core motivations that turn <strong>individual trips into shared journeys<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll work directly with the CEO, COO, Data, and Product teams to grow our <strong>activation and retention rates<\/strong>, inform our product roadmap, contribute to our expansion go-to-market strategy and connect with our 2M+ members to solve more of their transportation needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re a small, tight-knit team of 22 passionate people. We\u2019re <strong>profitable<\/strong>, intentional about <strong>staying lean<\/strong>, and proud of our \u201csmall but mighty\u201d approach. This role is for someone who\u2019s <strong>hands-on<\/strong>, <strong>takes ownership<\/strong>, and isn\u2019t afraid to roll up their sleeves to <strong>make things happen<\/strong> with limited oversight and resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You have&#8230;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>7+ years of experience<\/strong> as product or growth marketer with a focus on product-led growth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated <strong>success scaling users and engagement<\/strong> in consumer-facing products and\/or apps with a focus on converting intent into real, repeat usage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mastery of the <strong>post-signup journey<\/strong>, prioritizing member activation and retention<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3+ years of <strong>leadership experience<\/strong> mentoring multi-functional product and marketing teams and managing complex projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A keen eye for great <strong>copywriting, storytelling and design<\/strong> to deliver high-quality growth campaigns with high impact<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience launching new markets<\/strong>, from go-to-market strategy to demand generation and offline marketing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cultural fluency across North America, with a nuanced understanding of <strong>Canadian and US landscapes<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>data-driven, customer-centric mindset<\/strong> that uses member insights to power operational decisions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bonus points for having<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Architected brand narratives<\/strong> that translate high-level strategy into a consistent, compelling voice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in a <strong>2-sided marketplace<\/strong> and context of how different user behaviour and motivations affects outcomes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience managing external talent<\/strong>, including freelancers and agencies, to extend team reach<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with <strong>carpooling, shared mobility or travel platforms<\/strong> in North America<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of <strong>French or Spanish<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you will be doing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Lead and build a small but mighty squad:<\/strong> Mentor current team members across Growth and Marketing functions and identify hiring needs as we scale<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Architect the marketing roadmap:<\/strong> Design the annual strategy by aligning business priorities with robust product marketing frameworks, ensuring growth initiatives are data-driven and consistently move members from exploration to real usage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Drive market expansion:<\/strong> Partner with CEO and COO to build the end-to-end go-to-market strategy and execution of growth activities for expansion to new routes across North America<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ensure brand consistency:<\/strong> Deeply understand our unique value to members and translate their insights into compelling narratives and consistent, branded messaging<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Own the member lifecycle:<\/strong> Oversee the end-to-end execution of lifecycle marketing, social strategy, and content to move the needle on activation and retention, continuously testing and refining narratives and channels<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Create the creative engine:<\/strong> Build and manage a network of freelance designers, copywriters, and translators to ensure high-quality output<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Drive cross-functional integration:<\/strong> Partner with Operations, Product, Data, and Support teams to lead seamless campaign execution and product launches<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Optimize for performance:<\/strong> Monitor key metrics to rapidly iterate on strategy and unlock sustainable and scalable growth, contributing to the evolution of growth frameworks and operating cadence that support ongoing experimentation and learning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Compensation &amp; location<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Full-time, remote role (Ontario or British Columbia, Canada)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Base salary starting at $130,000<\/strong>, plus <strong>profit-sharing<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equity through the Employee Stock Options Plan (ESOP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to our Company benefits plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>20 paid holiday days per year&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>10 wellness days per year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>10 paid statutory days off per year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why join Poparide?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll join a mission-driven company at a pivotal moment.
