Mandatory Driver\u2019s License Verification Starting June 1<\/h2>\n\n\n

Your safety is our priority. That’s why, starting June 1, 2024, drivers license verification will become a mandatory step for all drivers on Poparide<\/strong>. This new feature will help ensure that everyone you share a ride with has been properly vetted, keeping our community safe and trustworthy. You will be asked to verify your driver\u2019s license on Poparide before you post a trip, and this process will only take you a few minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that we’ve recently updated our Terms of Service<\/a> and Privacy Policy<\/a> in line with this new driver’s license verification requirement.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Increase of the Maximum Price Per Kilometre<\/h2>\n\n\n

In response to the rising gas prices across Canada, we are updating our maximum price per kilometre. Effective immediately, the maximum price will increase from 15 cents to 18 cents per kilometre<\/strong>. This adjustment will help drivers cover their costs while continuing to offer affordable travel options to our passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With our new reporting feature, you can now report any inappropriate behaviour directly from a member\u2019s profile. Simply visit the member’s profile on our app and tap the “Report” button in the top right corner of the screen<\/strong>. This tool is part of our ongoing effort to ensure that Poparide remains a community where everyone feels comfortable and respected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
